Original music, connecting with fans and indie vibes 🤘🫶
From 2012-2019 The Strypes enjoyed substantial international success from supporting the Arctic Monkeys (on their 'AM' world tour) as well as touring with Blur, The Stone Roses and Liam Gallagher to appearances on Letterman, Conan O'Brien and Jools Holland as well as our own sell-out tours and 3 Top 10 albums in the UK/Ireland, Japan and beyond. The band folded just before Covid and since then I have formed my own garage/alternative rock 'n' roll band called The Savage Hearts which was launched last year.
The band began working with Irish indie label Blowtorch Records early last year and have already celebrated some significant achievements. Our debut single 'Gang War', released in February ‘24, hit No 1 on the Irish downloads chart staying in the top 3 for over a week after, as well as strong radio play and rave reviews from outlets such as Hot Press, Indie Buddie and many others. We've also racked up slots at some major Irish festivals(Sea Sessions, Electric Picnic etc) as well as support slots with acts such as The Boomtown Rats, The Undertones and Jerry Fish. The band made its London debut last summer with shows at Gaz's Rockin' Blues Soho and Dublin Castle Camden.
